Mixed Berry Parfait

When I first stumbled into the blogging world I was excited to share my joy of cooking and feeding people. When I started my culinary journey my audience consisted of my university years, however over the years it has grown to include my little humble family. I love creating recipes and I love making them simple and accessible. Whilst I like spending time in the kitchen developing flavours for my recipes there are times when I just want to keep things simple.

This mixed berry parfait is one my first recipes that I developed over 5 years ago when I began my culinary journal. It is simple, to the point and no fuss about it. I use fresh ingredients and just layer them together to make a delicious morning treat that my kids love to eat for breakfast.

Mixed Berry Parfait

Ingredients

1/2 cup mixed berries

1/2 cup skimmed yoghurt

1/4 cup cup mixed granola

1 tsp pumpkin seeds

1 tsp chia seeds

1 tsp ground flax seeds

Directions

1In a medium sized glass, layer fruit, yoghurt, granola and mixed seeds. Repeat the layers. Garnish with some fruit
