226gchocolate (dark chocolate, milk chocolate or white chocolate), finely chopped
250gRipe strawberries
Instructions
Thoroughly wash and pat dry strawberries. Allow to rest to room temperature before use.
Place chocolate of choice in a heat proof bowl. Fill a saucepan with a couple inches of water, on medium heat bring the liquid to a simmer. Turn off heat, place the bowl with chocolate over the saucepan and allow the chocolate to melt. Stir the chocolate until smooth.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Hold the strawberry from the stem and dip in the melted chocolate, gently lift and twist to allow the excess chocolate to fall back into the bowl. Place the strawberries on the parchment paper and repeat the same steps with the rest of the strawberries.
Allow the chocolate covered strawberries to set for 30 minutes in a cool room or in the fridge before serving.
