  • If you can’t find burrata cheese, you could use fresh mozzarella or feta cheese as a substitute.
  • If you don’t have any pesto on hand, you could use chopped fresh basil or even a drizzle of balsamic glaze.
  • You could use other herbs, such as parsley or cilantro, as a garnish for the salad.

Preparation Tips for Tomato Burrata

  • To get the most flavour out of your tomatoes, make sure to use ripe and juicy tomatoes that are in season. It’s also important to slice the tomatoes thinly to ensure they are evenly coated with the dressing and cheese.

Serving Tips for Tomato Burrata

  • This salad is best served immediately after assembling to ensure that the tomatoes and cheese are at their freshest. It can be enjoyed on its own as a light lunch or as a side dish with grilled meats or seafood.

storage tips

  • If you have leftovers, you can store the salad in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one day. However, keep in mind that the tomatoes may release some liquid, which could make the salad a bit watery.
